THE TEAM
Kwame Clarke
(Co-founder, CEO) - Former Executive Director (2013-2021) at York College Performing Arts Center. Prior to that, he served 12 years as the facility’s Production Manager. Kwame has decades of knowledge on event management, having produced outstanding events with accomplished talents, such as Alvin Ailey Dance Company, Snarky Puppy, and Dance Theater Company of Harlem. He founded Simple Solutions Production Group in 2013, to support a wide array of production needs for clients and events, such as: Pyer Moss Fashion Shows (2018 - 2022), HBO’s Romeo Santos House of Bachata (2021), The Jamaica Dance Festival (2016 - 2022), MONCLER MONDOGENIUS Presents Solange Knowles (NYFW 2021), Google: In Our Image (2021) and Basquiat: Kings Pleasure NYC activations (2022).
Terrance Friday
(Co-founder, CFO/COO) - Began his career in AV over 20 years ago, as a freelance audio engineer, while maintaining a full-time job as a Cost Accountant (10 years). In 2006, he became dedicated to AV production as Director of Elyon APR - a Business to Business audio production company that assisted various NYC service providers with consultation and technical services. He has enjoyed years of touring and working with an eclectic mix of artists ranging from the legendary Paul Simon, to Hip Hop artist Nas and Gospel Recording artist, Donnie McClurkin. In 2009, he became the Technical Director for Church of the Revelation, Bronx, NY, where he supervised operations and managed major system upgrades for audio, video, lighting and streaming systems. This experience led to the formation of Mickella Solutions Inc, which continues to provide excellent service and technical support for organizations such as Albert Einstein College of Medicine, Montefiore Medical Center, Mind-Builders Creative Arts, and MASC Hospitality Group, and a host of Houses of Worship.
Anita Romero Warren
(Director of Operations) - Brings over three decades of experience, with a focus on identifying and implementing business solutions for non-profit organizations. As former Deputy Director at Weeksville Heritage Center, she spearheaded the “Save Weeksville Campaign,” which raised over $1.5 million in donations and new grant funding. Prior to Weeksville, she served, for over 15 years, as the Deputy Director/Interim Executive Director for the Jamaica Center for Arts & Learning (JCAL). She has also held director positions for the Clemente Cultural Center, the Southeast Queens Community Partnership and Neighborhood Housing Services of Northern Queens. Anita is the founder of ARW Consulting and Event Planning and brings a wealth of demonstrable experience in management, strategic planning and program implementation.
